Ruben Barros

Rubén Barros is a key figure in Latin America's metal scene. A passionate music entrepreneur, he founded Talent Nation in 1999 to bring top-tier extreme metal bands to the region. His career began in the underground with the fanzine Flagrum (1994), later followed by HardNews Magazine after earning his Journalism degree.

Over the years, he has worked with legendary acts, now serves as booking agent and tour manager for major artists across Latin America, the U.S., and Canada — including Mayhem, Leprous, Watain, Batushka, and more.

During the pandemic, he launched House of Gods, an official merchandise platform for bands such as Kreator, Behemoth, and Darkthrone.

Rubén has also been a guest speaker at Inferno Festival and is the founding member of the doom metal band Total Death.
